Responsibilities
- Reports sports stories for broadcast
- Write engaging sports content for digital platforms.
- Produces content for CTV, our digital platform
- Pitch relevant sports stories to management that connect with our local community.
- Shoots and edits sporting events for TV and digital
- Anchor sports segments in assigned newscasts
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with ability to ad lib when needed
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple assignments
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
