FocusKPI isseeking aSoftware QA engineer- AR/VRto join one of our clients, a high-tech SaaS company.

Work Location:Mountain View, CA(Onsite role, 4 days/week onsite)

Duration:12-monthcontract with potential to convert depending on the candidate's performance

Pay Range:$55/hr to $64/hr

Responsibilities

• You will take an active role in shaping the quality of the team'semerging software. This will demand deep integration with their development engineers, developing testing plans and test cases on both functional and non-functional, bug triaging, and supporting design reviews
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Run daily sanity and Weekly regression tests
• End-to-end defect reporting and tracking
• Analyzing quality data, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing innovative ideas to improve quality
• Troubleshoot, triage, and provide detailed debug information to expedite issue resolution
• Communication with cross-functional and partner teams across locations
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Testing, along with 1 years’ experience in testing XR(AR/VR) platforms or applications
• A bachelor's degree is required as a minimum qualification, and having a higher degree is great to have
• A solid experience working with testing headsets (S/W testing, but not anything hardware)
• Experience testing AR/VR headsets/ solutions and Android applications in AR/VR
• Excellent understanding of QA processes and methodologies
• Experience with non-functional testing (performance, stress, memory, etc.) of XR applications/frameworks
• Mandatory experience working for acompany who manufactures headsets and worked with headsetsearlier to be considered
• Familiarity with game development and game engines, i.e., Unity or Unreal,is a plus
• Hands-on Experience with Python or Java programming language is a plus
• Testing experience with generative AI applications or models is a plus
