CORE RESPONSIBILITIES : To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Prepares and keeps records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading
- Coordinate and communicate with freight carriers on trailer switches and pick-ups
- Troubleshoot freight issues related to shipping in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Schedule freight within online portals
- Communicate with cross functional departments as needed
- Process returns both internal and external
- Process sub-contract shipments
- Support shift supervisor on shift management needs
- Prepares and keeps records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading
- Additional duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One-year related experience in related field
- Experience operating a scanner
- Ability to work independently with little direction or supervision.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task under short deadlines.
- Effective organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication skills
