What's the Job?
- Receive, store, inventory, pick, pack, and distribute materials and products within the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Assist with shipping and receiving - unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
- Read work orders, transfer orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
- Move materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or designated locations.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to SAP documentation.
- Assemble orders from stock and place them on pallets or carts for shipment or production.
- Move parts kits from staging areas to production points using material carts, forklifts, tuggers, or other means.
- Record quantities of materials received or distributed using SAP or a similar system.
- Assist in physical inventory counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, by sweeping, dusting, and mopping.
- 12-18 months of warehouse or material handling experience
- Stand up Forklift experience
- Knowledge of SAP or similar inventory management systems
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Temporary-to-hire opportunity with room for growth
- Hands-on experience with a leading manufacturing company
