Note: The hourly rate for this position is $28 - $32 / hour. Responsibilities
- Fabricating, installing, and repairing sheet metal products, such as ducts, roofing, and siding, using various techniques like welding, soldering, and riveting
- They read blueprints, measure and mark materials, cut and shape sheet metal, and ensure accurate installation
- Maintenance of sheet metal components in diverse settings like construction sites and fabrication shop
- Fabricating, installing, and repairing sheet metal products, such as ducts, roofing, and siding, using various techniques like welding, soldering, and riveting
- They read blueprints, measure and mark materials, cut and shape sheet metal, and ensure accurate installation and maintenance of sheet metal components in diverse settings like construction sites and fabrication shops
- Sheet metal workers to fabricate or install products made from thin metal sheets, including ducts for heating and air conditioning, roofing, siding, and other metal components.
- Interpret technical drawings to understand dimensions, specifications, and instructions for cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal
