Join PSI, a wholly owned subsidiary of ETS, and help build technology that powers human progress. As a Senior Software Developer, you'll design and deliver high-quality software solutions that support our customers and advance our mission. You'll work independently, collaborate across teams, and mentor junior developers-bringing innovation and reliability to every project.
Customers will include the US Government, therefore the successful candidate must be a US Citizen and be able to pass a level 1 (Confidential) security clearance

Senior Software Engineer

About The Role

What You'll Do
- Design and Build : Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using Java/Spring and SQL.
- Solve Problems : Diagnose complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Lead Projects : Take ownership of key initiatives and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Enhance Systems : Improve existing functionality and add new features to meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborate : Work with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts in an Agile environment.
- Innovate : Research emerging technologies and apply best practices to improve performance and user experience.
- Document and Share : Maintain clear product documentation and contribute to process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5 years in software development roles.
- Strong skills in Java, Spring Framework, SQL, and modern front-end technologies (JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS).
- Experience with APIs, Node.js, and version control tools (Git).
- Familiarity with Agile practices and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to receive a level 1 security clearance
- JSP development.

- Tools like JIRA and enterprise-level debugging techniques.
