Job Title: Senior Scientist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Scientist to join our team on an on-call basis, providing support as needed up to 40 hours per week based on project workload. The role is an "on-call" term position from February 2026 to April 2026. This position offers a flexible working environment, allowing you to contribute to impactful projects concerning greenhouse gas inventories and air quality assessments.

Responsibilities

• Develop Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG inventories.
• Review air quality permits and prepare agency documentation.
• Quantify emissions including NOx, SOx, PM, and VOCs using standard factors.
• Draft technical reports and environmental impact assessments.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in air quality/environmental consulting/GHG Programs.
• Familiarity with EPA GHGRP/CARB GHG MRR.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and strong data management skills.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Environmental Sciences expertise.
• Experience in environmental consulting.
• Knowledge of environmental impact assessments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lincoln, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $50.00/hr.
