Key Responsibilities
- Partner with site manufacturing and operations teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Lead the implementation and improvement of ERP modules related to production, inventory, and quality.
- Support automation tools and data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI) for reporting and process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find opportunities for operational efficiency and digital transformation.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and work with developers or vendors for delivery.
- Conduct system testing, training, and documentation for users.
- Apply project management methodologies to manage initiatives from conception to completion.
- Support change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new tools and processes.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for site-level business systems.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a manufacturing or operations environment.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Experience with automation tools, data visualization, and Power BI.
- Proven ability to detail business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaborator management skills.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management practices (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Experience in Life Sciences, Pharma, or Industrial Manufacturing environments.
- Certification in CBAP, PMP, or Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) or automation technologies (e.g., PLC integration), or equivalent experience.
- The role is on-site at the Milwaukee manufacturing facility.
- May require occasional travel to other Thermo Fisher sites for project coordination.
