The Senior Director of Asset Management is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational performance of the company’s real estate portfolio. This role ensures that all assets are managed to maximize value, minimize risk, and align with the company’s financial and operational objectives. The Senior Director will collaborate with internal stakeholders and oversee third-party service providers to deliver best-in-class property performance and occupant satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities
Asset Management
- In collaboration with key stakeholders and business leaders, review and approve asset strategies that optimize portfolio performance, including acquisitions, dispositions, repositioning, and capital planning
- Monitor financial performance of each operating region, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Conduct regular regional portfolio reviews to assess performance
- Oversee the performance of the property management function, ensuring high standards of maintenance, safety, and tenant service
- Resolve escalations relating to property management policies, procedures, and service level agreements
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for maintenance, security, janitorial, and other services
- Drive sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives across the portfolio
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of regionally focused, asset and property management professionals
- Serve as a key liaison between real estate, finance, legal, operations, and executive leadership
- Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 15 years of progressive experience in asset and property management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of managing complex real estate portfolios across multiple asset types (e.g., office, industrial, retail)
- Proven solid financial acumen and experience with real estate financial modeling and performance metrics
- Proven excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Current or prior experience on the Real Estate team
- Ability to be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach
- Proven solid interpersonal skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated familiarity with ESG and sustainability practices in real estate
