Summary

Our team is looking for an experienced and driven Semiconductor Test Engineer who will work with cross-functional teams to define the requirements, lead the development, qualification and implementation of optical metrology equipment for characterizing display and subsystems in AR products.
Required Skills
Semiconductor Product Test Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain test programs and test infrastructure for display ICs and modules (e.g., TCONs, DDICs, µLED driver ICs, display panels, optical modules)
- Design, assemble, and debug test hardware, software, bench setups, and fixtures for lab, proto, and high-volume production environments
- Define test coverage and align test accuracy/specifications to device requirements at wafer, panel, and system levels
- Conduct electrical and optical validation of display components
- analyze characterization and production data to identify trends, improve yield, and enhance performance
- Collaborate with system design, packaging, and process teams to resolve integration, reliability, and performance challenges across the product life cycle
- Provide guidance and support to factory test engineers on test methods, equipment, and setup
- Manage and mentor vendor engineers/technicians to deliver swift, effective technical responses
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field
- 6 years of experience in semiconductor test engineering and/or product engineering
- Demonstrated ability to apply optical principles and interpret display quality metrics (i.e., luminance, colorimetry, uniformity, mura, and flicker)
- Experience with analog and digital circuit test development and optical/electrical measurement techniques
- Demonstrated experience in defining, developing, and troubleshooting test issues across development and production stages
- Proficiency in programming languages and algorithms such as Python
- Experience collaborating and managing factory engineers/technicians and building cross-functional relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as JMP or R
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment used in semiconductor device and display testing (e.g., SMUs, Oscilloscopes, spectroradiometers, light sources)
- Experience with ATE platforms (Advantest 93k, Teradyne UltraFLEX)
- Experience in yield analysis, test optimization, and failure analysis for semiconductor and/or display products
- Familiarity with display panel assembly processes and optical inspection techniques
