Job Description

This is an on-site position located in West Sacramento, California

Discover Impactful Work: You'll work in accredited laboratory dedicated to testing trials. As a part of this team you will have an impact on the development of new tests and assist in the application of new drugs.

A Day In The Life

• Training on new assays
• Share your results with other team members
• Performs routine and complex laboratory analyses
• Assists in the development and verification of test methodologies
• Assists in the resolution of technical problems
• Provides training to laboratory personnel
• Ensures instruments and equipment in the lab are functioning properly, performs equipment PM and schedules service
• Participates in instrument validations
• Complies with safety policies and procedures

Skills And Requirements

• BS degree in Sciences
• Strong working experience within Molecular Biology disciplines
• 5 years of experience in a Biology Laboratory testing environment
• Experience with NGS
• Experience with qPCR (quantitative polymerase chain reaction)
  
  

Demonstrated ability to perform complex data analysis is required. - Microscopy experience

• Master's degree
• Experience using Ion Torrent
