We are looking for a Peds HemOnc experienced RN case manager to join our team. This is a per diem posting looking for someone with flexible days and availability. The RN Case Manager hours are 0830-1700. This per diem case manager would have the opportunity to cross train and work with many different diagnoses.
Job Summary
Peckham Center Case Manager coordinates provision of care across the continuum for pediatric patients with a hematology and/or oncology diagnosis. The Case Manager advocates for the patient and family through triage, education, and navigation of insurance authorization requirements, as appropriate, to the nursing role. The Case Manager identifies, accesses, and allocates resources to meet the goals of care, as identified by the multidisciplinary team, in partnership with the patient and family.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
3 years of experience
California RN License
BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by American Heart Association
Must qualify for California Children's Services (CCS) Paneling
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to manage large call volumes and triage patient care needs appropriately
Experience working with children and adolescents with hematology and/or oncology diagnoses
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
5 years of experience
Bilingual - English/Spanish
The current salary range for this position is $58.87 to $101.33
