Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a proactive and technically skilled candidate to join a support team within a financial trading environment. This role involves working closely with traders who rely on real-time risk computations to assess their positions across stocks, currencies, and other instruments. Each bank has its own architecture for calculating risk exposure, and the candidate will be responsible for supporting the applications that deliver these insights. The role includes managing support requests via chat rooms and tracking issues through ServiceNow, ensuring timely communication and resolution. Tasks and troubleshooting steps must be documented in Confluence, with unresolved issues escalated to Tier 2 support. A strong understanding of risk systems, responsiveness to trader needs, and the ability to navigate complex technical environments are key to success in this role.

25 years of professional experience within financial services.
Experience working on the risk side of the business, specifically with IT risk applications (no need for vendor-specific tools; internal systems are used).
Understanding of how risk impacts trading operations, especially on the trading floor.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow for tracking and managing support requests.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to document tasks and processes using tools like Confluence.
Ability to manage support chat rooms, communicate with traders, and escalate unresolved issues to Tier 2. Experience or knowledge in Foreign Exchange (FX). null
