Job Description
BAE Systems, Inc. is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer to be part of our Systems Integration Team in support of the US/UK Trident Submarine Strategic Weapon System Program . The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, good at planning, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing system-level requirements modules in DOORS, to include activities such as, but not limited to: deriving requirements from parent and reference specifications, managing allocations of requirements to subsystems, performing impact and traceability assessments including suggested corrective actions, engaging with system architecture and verification teams to ensure satisfaction and verification of requirements, and generating and presenting views of requirements to leadership and stakeholders for review and approval. The selected candidate will also be responsible for leveraging DOORS Extension Language activities. The selected candidate will work closely with other BAE Systems, Inc. employees as well as other contractors and our U.S. Navy s Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) customers.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field, and6years of related/relevant work or a Master s Degree and4years of related/relevant work
- Experience including DOORS/DXL and Cameo/SysML
- Knowledge and experience developing scripts and ability to learn DXL and/or JavaScript programming languages.
- Basic knowledge of Requirements and their purpose in systems engineering
- Willingness to travel to DC weekly.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse work teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Extensive Model Based Systems Engineering experience
- Experience within the U.S. Navy's Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Office and the Strategic Weapon Systems
- Management Professional (PMP) certification Associate Systems
- Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) INCOSE certification
