Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team remotely, working EST hours. The BA is being brought on to help with BAU work as they need extra hands on deck. The BA will be expected to lead end‑to‑end data mapping efforts, including interpreting vendor‑provided flat files, documenting formats, identifying primary keys, and determining how data should flow into the warehouse. The BA will leverage deep expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, SQL queries, and file ingestion to support complex data analysis and reporting. This role requires the ability to write clear user stories in Azure DevOps and the ability to create detailed mapping documents. The BA will be collaborating closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, validate file structures, and ensure accurate ingestion of external data files, so the ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate discussions, confirm requirements, and document findings using Excel or Word. The ideal candidate should have 10 years of experience in BA/Data Analysis, and experience with working with data at a technical level, including reviewing tables, schemas, and ingestion logic.
