As a Operations Specialist, you'll step into the command center of a fleet of fully autonomous 18-wheelers. Think of it as combining elements of a tactical operations room, a mission-control station, and a high-stakes strategy game - all focused on keeping people safe and pushing the future of transportation forward.
This is hands-on, eyes-up, real-time operational work where your choices matter.

This is a Contract position based out of Coppell, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.

What You'll Do
- Monitor live autonomous truck activity and rapidly respond to system triggers and alerts.
- Send remote commands to autonomous vehicles during on-road and closed-course testing - always with a safety-first mindset.
- Provide real-time feedback on autonomy behavior and vehicle performance directly to engineering teams.
- Review and triage workflows that impact core performance metrics and regulatory compliance.
- Identify and escalate blockers - and bring solutions to the table.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects that strengthen operations and system performance.
- Stay up to date on software changes, new safety protocols, and how our autonomous tech evolves daily.
- Collaborate across teams to help improve operations, reliability, and safety.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with the public or internal partners.
- Ability to stay laser-focused on multiple live data feeds, dashboards, and operational tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Sharp attention to detail - especially in high-stakes environments.
- Strong decision-making instincts and proactive prioritization.
- A rock-solid safety mindset.
- Critical thinking and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new systems, protocols, and tools every day.
- Valid U.S. driver's license with 5 years of clean driving history (verified via MVR).
- Ability to pass initial and ongoing drug and alcohol screenings.
- 100% on-site role, with travel as needed.
- Availability for day or night shifts, early mornings, late nights, rotating schedules.
- Ability to work regular overtime and occasional weekends.
- Experience in operations, tech, logistics, automotive, customer service, or similar high-tempo environments.
- Comfortable with G-Suite.
- Bonus: command-line experience.
- Interest in tech tools - gaming, apps, creative software, etc.
- Strong teamwork experience and ability to collaborate under pressure.
