What You’ll Do
As a NOC Technician, you’ll be on the front lines of our 24/7 operations, monitoring and managing our Wireless Radio Access Network (RAN) and Core Transport Network. Your mission: ensure maximum uptime, rapid response to outages, and seamless service for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance and respond to alarms and outages in real-time.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues, escalating when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to restore service quickly and efficiently.
- Mentor and train junior technicians, using real-world events as learning opportunities.
- Document incidents, generate reports, and communicate status updates to leadership.
- Participate in disaster recovery efforts and emergency response protocols.
- Experience: 1 year in a telecommunications or network operations environment.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: CCNA preferred but not required. Or equivalent knowledge of the OSI model and network troubleshooting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities. Familiarity with Windows, and network monitoring tools.
- Mindset: Self-starter with a collaborative spirit and a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
