Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a ControlsEngineerto join their team for a renewable's clients. ThisEngineerwith be responsible forengineering expertise and guidance conceptualizing, interpreting, and executing assignments related to continuous control of energy conversion and storage processes, Plans and developsengineering projects which have important impact on major company programs. Acts as subject matter expert to individuals within and outside the organization with responsibility to act independently regarding technical matters pertaining to individual's field. Provides technical support to project developers and peerengineering disciplines. Incorporates feedback from operatingengineers for failure mitigation and quality improvement. Performs system and factory acceptance testing for new controlsand system mods and upgrades. Provides technical leadership in the functional specification, design, implementation and testing of control solutions. Ensures the organizations SCADA networking and operating requirements are addressed.
$55-60hr

Skills And Requirements
5 years of PLC programming or source code programming and industrial controls systems preferably in the BESS or Solar industry
Experience with Modbus, OPC, and DNP3 protocols
Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
Excellent written and verbal communication Bachelor's degree in engineering (any discipline)
Experience with functional safety standards e.g. IEC 61511/61508 or equivalent protection concepts
Experience with DCS/PLC based control implementations e.g. ControlLogix, Ovation, PCS7, DeltaV
Working knowledge of power fundamentals and voltage control
Closed Loop, PLC, PLD, Resource Management experience null
