Truist’s Early Career Coordinator is an integral part of our Early Career Recruiting Team. This individual is responsible for all administrative activities across all aspects of the early career lifecycle.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
- Work closely with school teams and university recruiters to ensure on campus plan is executed. Coordinate all on campus and in-house activities including, but not limited to, information sessions, career treks, company presentations, networking events, interviews, and programming.
- Coordinate and schedule 15-20 campus events, ensuring that materials arrive at designated schools prior to the event and returned to shipping facility post event.
- Schedule interviews for intern and full-time candidates
- Leverage technical solutions to support and collaborate with the university and strategic pipelines teams to organize and source intern and full-time program candidates. Fully operationalize tech tools to source diverse talent slates.
- Provide proactive updates regarding candidate status to hiring managers and recruiters throughout the recruiting process.
- Assist in coordinating programming and engagement activities for early career interns and teammates.
- Provide recruiting metrics, such as offers per school, demographics, return on investment, full-time conversion, and intern feedback.
- Coordinate meetings, run of shows, content review sessions, research, resume reviews, fact findings, and function/new hire presentations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

- Human Resources education, training and relevant experience, in early career recruiting, campus/university operations, or other relevant HR experience
- Travel to universities and regional offices as needed
- Demonstrate proficiency using multiple computer applications such as applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management tools, and Microsoft tools.
- Travel to universities and regional offices as needed
- Strong ability to build robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented and results focused
- Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Internet and social media savvy
- Prior experience in Workday, Phenom People, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft SharePoint
