Executes the project management of Truist's corporate owned/leased real estate portfolio and space utilization. Role impacts overall teammate and client experience and is significant in managing Truist's overall project and program management. Oversees real estate project management outsourced provider relationships and financials. Serves as partner in developing project management solutions that align with business priorities, funding, and timing expectations; frequently interacts with external providers (e.g. project managers, architects, GC's, design vendors).
Thorough understanding of Real Estate Development, Commercial Real Estate, Design Strategy, Leadership, Knowledge of commercial FF&E, budgeting, critical thinking, program development, design standardizations, project management, signage and branding strategies, team building, value engineering, process improvements, Workplace design.

- Position has in office expectations and role will sit in Charlotte, NC. This is not a remote opportunity.
- Lead (SME) roles providing oversight for outsourced project management with annual spend of ~$100MM .
- Develop, implement, and monitor key performance metrics for project management outsourced vendors
- Leads highly complex and visible projects with notable risk and complexity.
- Thorough understanding of project management disciplines such as ability to read and understand construction documents and design/planning principles.
- Serves as an escalation point to resolve project issues.
- Focuses on enhancing Truist's project management processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Identifies and resolves technical, operational, risk management, business, and organizational challenges.
- Makes leadership decisions within established policies, procedures, and established objectives.
- Reviews and approves contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Collaboration with strategy, design, property management, and finance teammates to ensure efficient and complete end-to-end project process.
Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 8 years of related experience
- Solid understanding of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the project management discipline.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents.
- Ability to communicate complex information in straightforward situations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally occasionally is required
- Previous project management experience in the banking industry
- Experience with workplace, corporate office, or campus developments in major Indian cities
- Familiarity with global project management frameworks and governance models
- Ability to operate effectively across time zones and cultures
- PMP, RICS, or equivalent professional certification a plus
