The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $135,000 USD per year.

- WorkswithteamtoassistinmaintenanceanddevelopmentofneworexistingWebsiteapplicationsforinternalandcustomerfacinguse.
- Produces andteststheoreticalspecificationsanddesignsforinstrumentationandelectronicsub-systems.
- CreatesandimprovesProductUnitTestingmethodsforproductintegrationanddevelopment.
- Testingofanalogand digitalelectroniccircuitry,equipmentand firmware.Systematicallyimprovesandchangesdetaileddesignsmakingsurethattheirperformancemeetsawrittenspecification.
- Ensuresdesigncompliancewithapplicablestandardsandcodes.Ensuresproductswillworkwithdevicesdevelopedbyothers, can bemadeagainreliably, andwillperformconsistentlyinspecifiedoperatingenvironments.
- Testselectronicsunits,usingstandard testequipmentandon-sitecalibrationfacilities, andanalyzesresultstoevaluateperformance and determineneedforadjustment.

- Researchanddevelopcommunicationcapabilityfornew andexistingproductsusingvariousdigitalindustryprotocols/specificationsincludingMODBUS (RTU and TCP/IP), HART, BACNET,LoRaWAN, AMI (Sensus,Itron, etc.), Bluetooth,WiFiandothers.
- BSorhigherin CS/CE/EEorarelatedengineeringdiscipline.Demonstratedexperienceworkingwithandtestingdigitalelectroniccircuitand firmwaredesign.
- Minimum10years'experienceinthedesignanddevelopmentof emb edded firmware , PCsoftwareandelectricalcomponentcircuitryaspartofadevelopmentteam.
- Proficient in at least one ofcommonprogramming languages (C, C , C#). Pythonproficiencyhighlypreferred.
- Experienceusingoneormore Real-TimeOperatingSystemssuchasFreeRTOS, DSP-BIOS,Zephyr,uC/OS,orsimilar.SkillslevelisdeterminedbySkillsMatrix andLevelingGuide.
- Familiaritywithcommonembeddedcommunicationbuses andprotocols,suchas SPI, I2C, UART and RS-485.
