Our client is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team at their West Chester, OH warehouse facility . This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering the chance to gain hands-on experience supporting quality operations in a laboratory and warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Aseptically sample incoming raw materials for chemistry and microbial verification in accordance with established procedures.
- Inspect raw material containers and packaging components to verify correct labeling, color, artwork, product identification, certification documentation, and absence of damage.
- Perform incoming material inspections to ensure materials meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Record sampling and testing data accurately and determine whether materials should be approved or placed on hold.
- Generate nonconformance reports and communicate quality concerns to internal teams and suppliers as needed.
- Request and review supplier certificates of analysis and documentation to verify compliance.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in internal audits and support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field preferred (other technical degrees considered).
- 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory, quality control, manufacturing, or warehouse quality environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established quality procedures and specifications.
- Effective communication, documentation, and organizational skills .
- Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory and warehouse environment while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards.
