The position is based in a QC Lab at a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company specializing in oral rinse and antiseptic solutions, along with other pharma products. The work involves new ANDA products within the Oral Dose division. The company has recently expanded by acquiring new facilities, including a building site in Lake Villa. The work schedule is during the 1st shift, from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.

Responsibilities
- Review work conducted by chemists testing finished products, raw materials, in-process samples, components, and stability study samples.
- Focus on testing new ANDA Oral Dose products, including oral rinses and antiseptics, using titrations, pH, specific gravity, and HPLC.
- Assist with testing using HPLC, GC, TOC, FT-IR, UV-Vis, and pH meters.
- Inspect supplies and ingredients used in pharmaceutical production.
- Review SOPs and lab protocols for accuracy and adherence to GMP and FDA guidelines.
- Conduct some instrument validation as needed.
- Proficiency in Chemistry, particularly Wet and Analytical Chemistry.
- Experience with laboratory equipment and techniques, including HPLC and gas chromatography.
- Strong documentation and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with FDA guidelines and quality assurance processes.
- Experience using OpenLab and LIMS software.
- Minimum of 1 year of HPLC experience is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in Chemistry.
- Preferred experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with hands-on experience in GC, HPLC, FTIR, and wet chemistry.
- Good understanding of GMP and GDP.
- Proficiency in Agilent OpenLab software is preferred.
- Good handwriting for laboratory notebook documentation.
