QA/QC Assistant Project Manager – Major Projects

In this role, you’ll assist in managing quality processes, commissioning scopes, and documentation while collaborating with project teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
- Assist in managing QA/QC and commissioning scopes across multiple sites.
- Maintain and update QA/QC logs in project management software (e.g., Procore, Smartsheet).
- Track and log issues as well as coordinate with field leadership to ensure issues are resolved and closed in a timely manner.
- Verify Material compliance with project specifications.
- Communicate client requirements to quality and production teams.
- Assist in reviewing specifications and installation procedures.
- Monitor compliance with quality standards and report deviations.
- Collect and compile quality data for analysis and reporting.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action plans for quality issues or non-conformances.
- Support inspectors, technicians, and electricians with guidance and coordination.
- Assist in preparing reports for upper management and client updates.
- Assist in training field personnel on quality standards and procedures.
- Verify installation compliance with applicable NEC code requirements.
- Coordinate third-party inspection and NETA testing activities.
Education & Experience
Required
- 2–4 years of experience in construction or electrical QA/QC roles.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to read electrical single-line diagrams and apply NEC standards.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with Autodesk, Procore, Smartsheet, or Primavera P6.
- Familiarity with quality documentation and reporting processes.
