100% Remote

We are looking for a Python Engineer who has played an architectural role or has hands on experience developing an application, product or tool with Python. As the Python Engineer you also need expertise creating Python libraries.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $70 - $80 / hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Migrate current Groovy business logic to Python code
• Complete all outstanding Python feature or bug tickets on backlog
• Complete new Python development tickets assigned within two weeks of assignment
• Create new feature or bug tickets for issues found during development
• Create numerous single-purpose Python-based web services to handle automated tasks
• Include tests and inline documentation for new functions and classes
• Engage with development lead multiple times throughout the day for collaboration
  
  

Experience Requirements

• Min 3yrs writing Python code
• Using Python Libraries
• Prior experience with OO Method Libraries
  
  

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
