Intuit Global Corporate Affairs and Public Policy (GCAPP) serves as the voice of Intuit customers with policymakers. As part of the Legal, Compliance, and Policy Organization (LCPO), GCAPP leads Intuit's engagement on public policy and regulatory issues that affect the business, its customers, and the broader financial technology industry. Our work spans a range of policy areas, including financial services, artificial intelligence, privacy and data protection, cybersecurity, payments, taxpayer empowerment, bank partnerships, and small and mid-market business growth.
GCAPP offers internships across two distinct focus areas: Public Policy and Public Affairs. The focus area of this opportunity is Public Affairs.
Our internships provide hands-on exposure to in-house corporate public policy operations. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals and gain practical insight into how public policy priorities inform business decision-making in a fast-paced, global technology company.

The focus area of this internship is Public Affairs. Reporting directly to a manager of GCAPP's Global Public Affairs team in Washington, DC, you will support GCAPP's public affairs priorities and be assigned duties and tasks that may include:
- Strengthen and support paid and earned media campaigns and strategies that build Intuit brand awareness, highlight public policy priorities of the company's customers, engage policy audiences, effectively reach key opinion leaders, and build Intuit executives' visibility.
- Work with external creative and PR agencies to establish research-driven goals and actionable insights to drive measurable impact by market.
- Maintain and refresh content for Intuit Global Corporate Affairs web properties to help feed into paid media campaigns.
- Develop content for GCAPP internal newsletter emails and manage newsletter sends and performance.
- Infuse creative thinking to help drive greater integration across GCAPP and across Brand, Marketing, and Corporate Communications teams.
Applicants currently enrolled in a Master's degree program will be strongly preferred. Strong applicants will demonstrate:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, to pay close attention to detail, and to manage multiple tasks while delivering a high standard of work quality.
- Expressed interest in public affairs or corporate affairs work.
- Experience working on digital marketing campaigns and/or press and media communications (public affairs or public policy sector experience is a plus).
- Moderate to advanced proficiency with AI tools, Google Suite, Slack, MailChimp, and other SaaS apps.
- This internship will be located in Washington, D.C.
