Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Scheduler to join our construction team. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring detailed project timelines that support the successful execution of construction projects. The Project Scheduler will coordinate all aspects of the project plan-including activity sequencing, resource allocation, work breakdown structures, and milestone tracking-to ensure timely completion within budget.

This position requires close collaboration with project managers, field leadership, engineers, subcontractors, and procurement teams to identify and mitigate potential delays, resolve scheduling conflicts, and proactively address challenges throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
• Break down project scope into tasks aligned with the work breakdown structure
• Define logical sequencing of activities and estimate durations and resource needs
• Perform critical path analysis and develop baseline schedules for tracking progress
• Integrate electrical schedules into general contractor timelines
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and update schedules accordingly
• Collect and analyze progress data to identify deviations and potential delays
• Update schedules based on actual progress and communicate changes to stakeholders
• Evaluate schedule impacts of change orders and propose corrective actions
• Identify critical path activities and potential bottlenecks
• Assess schedule risks such as weather delays and material shortages; develop contingency plans
• Prepare and present clear, concise schedule reports to project management and stakeholders
• Facilitate schedule review meetings and address timeline concerns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure schedule alignment and project success
  
  

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in construction scheduling software, especially Primavera P6
• Experience in project scheduling and construction management
• Ability to develop and maintain baseline schedules
• Strong analytical skills for progress monitoring and impact analysis
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement
  
  

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $38.46/hr.
