A Project Engineer’s primary responsibility is to provide technical engineering information to a Project Manager to ensure project compliance with plans, codes, specifications and design instructions. Assist in evaluations and solution or potential field problems, referring them to Project Management. As a Project Engineer At Fisk Electric, Reporting To The Project Manager Or Senior Project Manager, You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Assist with development of startup checklist and site logistics plan
- Assist with development of quality control plan
- Assist with and monitor permit processes
- Prepare closeout log
- Participate in and document owner training
- Compile as-built drawings
- Administer RFI process
- Develop submittal log and administer submittal process
- Document job site meetings
- Verification of project materials
- Develop and maintain material expediting log
- Coordinate and/or conduct quality control inspections
- Establish record and permit sets of documents
- Ensure accessibility of show drawings and submittals
- Create, distribute and expedite sub response to RFPs
- Process progress photos
- Assist in preparation of Owner Change Requests
- Assist with preparation of project status reports
- High School Diploma or GED
- Working knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications and building materials
- Ability to perform trigonometric calculations, either manually or with calculator
- Ability to interface and communicate effectively with others
- Procore experience preferred
