This role requires a strong understanding of accounting requirements for operational and financial processes, including SOX compliance.
- Act as the Accounting representative in business process design sessions, ensuring financial integrity and compliance.
- Provide subject matter expertise on inventory accounting for B&M retail operations, including physical inventory counting and RFID-enabled processes.
- Define and validate accounting requirements for inventory movement transactions, such as:
- Goods receipts and exception management.
- Store inventory adjustments and corrections.
- Ensure proper design and documentation of financial controls, including SOX compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational processes with accounting standards.
- Support testing and validation of inventory-related processes and systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong experience in Inventory Accounting within B&M retail environments. -on experience with RFID-enabled inventory processes.
- Deep understanding of operational and financial process controls, including SOX requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to bridge accounting and operational teams
- . efective inventory adjustments; store-to-store inventory transfers; sales/returns related inventory movement activities)
- Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite. ??
- Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors. ?
- Pay Range: $ 85-90hr.
