We are hiring a Production Manager for our frozen food manufacturing facility in Fullerton, CA. This leadership role is responsible for the efficient use of resources to ensure an effective manufacturing process to meet quality standards and production schedules.
Responsibilities
The base salary range for this position is $73,500 to $122,500 annually with eligibility for a 15% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

We are hiring a Production Manager for our frozen food manufacturing facility in Fullerton, CA. This leadership role is responsible for the efficient use of resources to ensure an effective manufacturing process to meet quality standards and production schedules.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the general safety and health of production employees
- Establishes and maintains excellent employee relations among all plant personnel
- Participates and shows a presence at all plant production and management meetings
- Creates and organizes weekly production schedules to meet demands
- Plans implements and delegates production line changes to maintain an efficient production flow
- Ensures and inspects daily production to verify customer and company standards and specifications are being met on all products produced within facility
- Maintains constant improvement in making quality products reducing costs and following good manufacturing practices (GMP)
- Participates and supports Global Food Safety Initiatives programs implementation and compliance
- Manages trains and develops subordinates
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5 years of related people and process leadership experience, ideally in a food plant
- Ability to read analyze and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations.
- Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions and make effective decisions.
- Knowledge of USDA FDA and BRC regulations preferred.
