- Understand and document the business requirements for projects, working closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, PMO and Release Management and to ensure that product features are delivered on time and meet customer needs
- Define and prioritize project features and user stories and ensure that they are communicated effectively to the development team.
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback during lab and field trial phases and make data-driven decisions to improve features and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in Safe Agile ceremonies, including Program Increment (PI) planning, Sprint planning, and Sprint reviews.
- Collaborate with the Scrum Master to ensure that the development team has a clear understanding of the product backlog and priorities.
- Continuously refine and prioritize the product backlog based on feedback and changing business needs
- Create project documentation to be reviewed by customers, technicians, and internal helpdesk
- Ability to understand technical terms related to product domain and effectively communicate at a technical detail with the scrum teams and functional level with business stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or related work experience
- Outstanding communication and leadership and negotiation skills
- 3 - 5 years of experience as a product owner
- 3 years' experience in applicable domain
- Experience working deep within the product domain is highly desired
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Experience with Safe Agile practices and frameworks, including SAFe 5.0.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience as a software developer or in Software Testing desired, but not required
- Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, leaders from other functional areas, in a constructive and collaborative relationship
- Experience working with globally distributed teams
