- Responsible for tooling tryout and product development.
- Build robust forge procedures and work instructions.
- Standardize the tryout process for all locations.
- Embrace and promote the company’s culture beliefs as a means to achieve the Key Results.
- Support other APP, Inc. facilities (including on-site).
- May be required to work in other Engineering functions like Quality, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Works with Engineering Manager/ Production Manager and coordinate tryout and improvement activities.
- Interact on the shop floor throughout the company to problem solve and optimize current processes and procedures.
- Participate in improvement initiatives to achieve Key Results
- Provide reports and updates to various levels of the organization to achieve desired results.
- Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial/Material Science/Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience and understanding of aerospace and commercial manufacturing and specifications.
- Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
- In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office and CAD.
