Job Description

An employer in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Power BI Analyst to join their team. This person's responsibilities include:

• Build, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards for business stakeholders.
• Edit and manage data flows from Excel files into Power BI, ensuring accuracy and refresh reliability.
• Connect and automate data flows from SAP into Power BI using tools like Power Automate or SAP connectors.
• Establish and maintain automated update processes from Excel-based data sources.
• Lead the migration of a legacy Tableau dashboard into Power BI, including redesign and stakeholder alignment.
• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with business users to define KPIs, metrics, and dashboard functionality.
• Enhance an existing Power App by building a new Notes section to improve interactivity and user experience.

Skills And Requirements

• 5 years of Power Platform Experience (Power BI and Power Apps)
• Proven ability to develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards in Power BI.
• Experience migrating dashboards from other platforms (e.g., Tableau) into Power BI.
• Strong skills in building and editing data flows, particularly from Excel and SAP systems.
• Demonstrated experience in automating data pipelines and refresh processes using Power Platform tools.
• Skilled in requirements gathering and collaborating with stakeholders to improve existing dashboards or design new ones.
• Strong background in visual management and data storytelling
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail - Experience working with Microsoft Access Database null
