We are seeking a dedicated Thoracic Oncologist to join The Hawai‘i Pacific Health oncology team on the island of O‘ahu in Honolulu . This is a unique opportunity to provide compassionate cancer care in one of the most beautiful locations in the world.
What You’ll Do
The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group (HPHMG) is comprised of approximately 900 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. It was formed in December 2019 to unify our employed physicians and advanced practice providers at Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s medical centers and clinics into one medical group. The consolidation brings the talent and expertise of our providers together to ensure consistency and excellence in patient outcomes and patient experiences throughout Hawai’i Pacific Health.
Members of HPHMG function as one team and share a collective commitment to provide consistent, high-quality care and service to our patients, their families and our community as they work together toward our mission to create a healthier Hawai‘i.

Hawai‘i Pacific Health Cancer Centers serve the state through four locations, offering:
With 118 beds and more than 500 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The medical center has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O‘ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, and one of the largest comprehensive centers for cancer care. Pali Momi also has a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, CT scan and MRI services, a women’s center and the state’s first retina center.

What You’ll Do
- Deliver comprehensive outpatient oncology care (13-16 patients/day)
- Serve lung, head and neck, esophageal, and other thoracic cancer patients from across Hawai‘i
- Collaborate with subspecialists in pulmonology, thoracic surgery, and palliative care and researchers from the University of Hawai‘i Cancer Center
- Mentor and teach advanced practice providers (APPs)
- Participate in bi-monthly thoracic cancer conferences
- A balanced schedule that supports work-life harmony
- A collaborative environment with experienced clinical and office support staff
- A team of nationally certified oncology nurses in infusion therapy
