Under the direction of the Laboratory Supervisor of Support Services, primary duties include Phlebotomy, Specimen Processing, and Customer Service. Position Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Recent graduate of a phlebotomy program and/or certification as a Phlebotomist preferred. Individuals new to healthcare are encouraged to apply and will participate in the onsite Phlebotomy Training Program. Specific skills, knowledge and/or competencies needed are: work independently, functional knowledge of the concepts of electronic information handling, attention to detail, thorough, concise, accurate documentation, function as a positive member of a team, handle multiple priorities in a high volume setting and handle confidential material with maturity, sensitivity and discretion.
