GENERAL PURPOSE: Responsible for providing customer satisfaction both internally and externally by filling orders promptly and accurately. Ensures product is stacked properly to ensure a quality shipment.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensures pharmaceutical orders meet requirements for shipping accuracy and guidelines for customer satisfaction.
• Verifies line clearance, job number, part number, description, and revision level prior to packing. Ensures all documentation is legible and accurate.
• Attaches samples to shipping containers if required by the customer's specifications.
• Customizes cartons/skids for customer specific needs.
• Applies labels to finished rolls and packs in appropriate shipping container.
• Skid packs items for shipment.
• Operates fork trucks as needed.
• Operates the scale and skid wrapper.
• Remains current on all standard operating procedures (SOP's)
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.).
• Six to twelve months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain a fork lift license.
• Must have the ability to read and write instructions and correspondences.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to pass a basic reading test.
• Must pass color vision test.
• Must pass color hue test.
• Must be able to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience.
• Must have strong mathematical skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must have good communications skills.
• Must be capable of maintaining good attendance.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed including weekends.
• Must be able to perform essential functions of job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
