KDG Construction Consulting is seeking an Office Engineer to join our growing team. The Office Engineer is responsible for assisting the Terminal 2 (T2) Project Manager with managing the scope, schedule, and operational interfaces of all design and construction-related activities for the Terminal 2 project.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Assist the T2 project team in the receipt, distribution, and maintenance of submittals. Perform construction contract correspondence, document and plan control function, input data into Prolog, and prepare management information status report, as required.
- Update and maintain logs for submittals and RFIs in Prolog, the project information system.
- Maintain project files and document/submittal management systems (hard and electronic copies). To ensure the drawings are posted efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Distribute documents, submittals, and RFIs for review; track and compile responses/review comments, obtain management approval, and issue responses to Contractor(s).
- Manipulate electronic files of various formats to create exhibits for presentations and meetings.
- Complete other responsibilities and assist as assigned to support the project, such as: attend and document project meetings (write agendas and minutes), perform expediting functions, and prepare and maintain an expediting log, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
- Ability to work in CAD or REVIT preferred
- 5 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or other related fields required
- Experience supporting Multiple Award Task Order Contracts.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
- Optional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc., or any other relevant professional license or certifications.
