You will partner with other team members to best align with workflow, there will be a test tracker used to help with alignment. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans for networking equipment and networking features.
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot complex multi-vendor networking lab environments that mimic live networks.
- Validate performance, scalability, and reliability of enterprise and service provider networking solutions.
- Develop Python-based automation scripts and frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage.
- Conduct system-level testing across Ethernet, IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, and related technologies.
- Perform traffic generation and analysis using tools such as Ixia/Keysight.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to identify, debug, and resolve issues.
- Document test cases, results, and defects with high clarity and detail.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 7 years of hands-on experience in network testing or qualification.
- Strong knowledge of L2/L3 protocols: Ethernet, VLANs, STP, IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, QoS.
- Solid background with Enterprise or ISP-grade network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrate strong ability to set up, configure, and troubleshoot complex, large-scale network environments across multi-vendor platforms (Nokia, Cisco, Arista, Ciena, Juniper, etc)
- Proficiency in Python for test automation (Pytest or similar frameworks).
- Hands-on experience with traffic generators and analyzers (Ixia/Keysight preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Additional Skills
- Experience with cloud networking technologies (GCP, AWS, etc).
- Knowledge of Linux-based test environments and shell scripting.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
- Familiarity with optical transport technologies (DWDM, OTN, Ethernet over optics).
- CCIE, JNCIE certification a plus
