Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Senior .NET Developer who brings deep technical expertise along with strong analytical and leadership skills to their compliance development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in .NET Core/.NET 6 , Dapr, messaging queues, MySQL, and legacy system integration. You will lead the development of scalable microservices and modernize complex legacy applications while managing the full lifecycle of software projectsfrom understanding business requirements to production deployment. The pay rate ranges between $50-60/hour.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust backend services using .NET Core / .NET 6 .
Architect and implement distributed, event-driven systems using Dapr for service-to-service communication, pub/sub, and state management.
Develop and manage message-based integrations using RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Azure Service Bus.
Work extensively with MySQL including stored procedures, schema design, and performance optimization.
Analyze, refactor, and modernize complex legacy systems and services, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Collaborate closely with product owners and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Drive and participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.
Ensure systems are well-tested, secure, and monitored, following best practices in software development and DevOps.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team technical growth.

Skills And Requirements
5 years of hands-on experience with .NET Core / .NET 6 in backend development.
Strong experience with Dapr in real-world microservices environments.
Proven expertise in message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus).
In-depth knowledge of MySQL, including writing and optimizing stored procedures and complex queries.
Experience modernizing and maintaining legacy .NET services, with a clear understanding of integration and migration strategies.
Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end software projects, from interpreting business requirements to delivery and post-deployment support.
Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Understanding of design patterns, event-driven architecture, CQRS, and DDD.
