About The Job You Are Considering
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FO) Specialist to manage, configure, and optimize financial processes within our ERP environment. This role will focus on U.S.-specific requirements and advanced functionalities to ensure compliance, efficiency, and accuracy across financial operations.
Your Role
- Supporting finance configuration and validation in D365
- Assisting with U.S.-specific compliance and reporting requirements
- Participating in testing and cutover activities
- Partner with finance teams globally and the ERP project team
- Configure and handle VAT processes according to U.S. tax requirements.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Adapt and configure payment file formats for U.S. standards, including check processing.
- Maintain accuracy and security in payment workflows.
- Implement and manage advanced bank reconciliation functionality.
- Oversee configuration and testing, ensuring timely completion within several weeks.
- Continue oversight and optimization of commission processes.
- Ensure accurate calculation and timely payouts.
- Configure credit management processes to block orders for non-creditworthy customers.
- Maintain compliance and minimize financial risk.
- Ensure proper integration and reconciliation of payments received through the e-commerce platform.
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage configuration and integration of Avalara tax compliance solutions for automated tax calculation and reporting.
- US Citizenship and currently hold Secret Clearance (or eligible for Secret Clearance)
- 5-7 years hands-on/ proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FO) configuration and implementation.
- 3-5 years specifically in financial module configuration and US Compliance Requirements
- Strong understanding of U.S. financial regulations, tax compliance, and payment standards.
- Experience with ISV integrations (e.g., Avalara) for tax automation.
- Knowledge of advanced bank reconciliation, credit management, and commission processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with e-commerce payment integrations
- Familiarity with U.S. VAT and sales tax requirements
- Ability to manage complex ERP configurations and deliver within deadlines.
