We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Administrative/Medical Records Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-centered environment and is passionate about supporting individuals with serious mental illness (SMI). The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate medical records, coordinating communication across departments, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the facility. Responsibilities
Associate’s degree required. Minimum of one year of experience as an administrative or medical records assistant preferred. Prior experience working in a client-based setting with individuals experiencing SMI. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional, friendly demeanor. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy. Familiarity with scheduling systems and Electronic Health Records preferred. Familiarity with OMH programming and Medicaid billing preferred.

- Manage, organize, and update medical records
- Assist with billing operations
- Greet and assist individuals entering the facility
- Triage incoming participants and phone calls, ensuring proper routing
- Facilitate communication between the program and recipients
- Perform general administrative tasks such as photocopying and faxing
- Promote an environment of inclusion and belonging
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
