Medical Assistant Lab Instructor
Location: Lehi, UT
Status: Part-time
Hours: Monday – Thursday; 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Pay / Salary: $17.00 /Hour
Summary
As a Medical Assistant Lab Instructor, you play a critical role in shaping the next generation of medical professionals. Your expertise and guidance directly impact students' hands-on learning, ensuring they develop the essential skills needed for success in the healthcare field.
You will actively demonstrate and mentor students in lab techniques, provide individualized support, and maintain accurate records of attendance and grades. You help foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment by identifying students who require additional instruction. Your contributions extend beyond the lab—you assist with grading, small group instruction, classroom preparation, and even field trip supervision.

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant Lab Instructor include, but are not limited to:
- Provide hands-on instruction, supervision, and mentorship in classroom and lab settings.
- Assess student performance through written, oral, and practical evaluations.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments.
- Ensure that students are held to the highest standards of accountability and professional development.
- Education Requirements: A high school diploma.
- Experience: At least two years of industry experience.
- Certifications: National Medical Assisting Certification and BLS CPR/First Aid Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Professionalism: Passionate, reliable, and dedicated to fostering student success.
- Organizational Abilities: Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and organization to efficiently handle multiple responsibilities.
- Attention to Detail: Sharp problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and effectiveness in daily tasks.
