How You'll Create Impact
- You will develop and specify product functional requirements and testing strategies according to user needs, internal and external standards and regulatory requirements
- You will design, test and integrate components and sub-assemblies to produce the overall final product design
- You will identify root causes of issues, determine potential solutions, and evaluate them against requirements
- You will work closely and collaboratively with other members of the development team, collaborate with contract manufacturers, designers and product specialists
- You will achieve relevant performance, time-to-market objectives, and product and project cost targets, all while achieving product quality goals
- You will develop hardware according to system and subsystems requirements, create CAD 3D models and detailed engineering drawings meeting company drafting standards
- You have working knowledge of 3D modeling software
- You have experience developing power tools
- You have experience in engineering simulations such as FEA and CFD
- You have experience leading or participating in risk analysis evaluation and dFMEA
- You are familiar with risk management tools and techniques
- You are proficient in stackup tolerance analysis techniques for mechanical assemblies
- You have experience developing medical devices and familiar with V&V testing and 510K submission activities
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience
- Experience in EMC and Safety Testing for IEC60601 certification
- Experience with Solidworks
