Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to be based in Dallas, TX.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Builds analytic and design skills.
- Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an
- experienced engineer.
- Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
- Performs work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision.
Minimum Qualifications :
- BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- 2 years of HVAC and & Plumbing design experience in an engineering consulting environment
- Working knowledge of relevant engineering software: REVIT, CAD, load calculation software, Excel
- Having experience: load calculations, Revit drafting, Carrier HAP or IES load programs
- Having experience with construction project engineering, heat & mass transfer, energy conversion engineering, fluids
- Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.
