Adecco is hiring immediately for a Materials Handler II with a local client in North Chicago, IL ! Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

• Contract Type: 3-month contract, potentially extendable
• Pay: $26.94 per hour
• Shift/Hours: Sunday night – Thursday morning 10:30pm–7am
  
  

Responsibilities

• Driver will ensure production lines will be serviced with materials and other needs the floor and lines need.
• Replenish stocks.
• Take finished loads back into warehouse.
• Bring warehouse materials into production floor.
• Need to be doing this in a safe & timely manner.
• Will be documenting their entire day.
• Where all products are being moved from and to.Will be working with SAP.
• Operate various types of material handling equipment required to move and correctly locate product in warehouse.
• Investigate or audit inventory transactions from receipt to shipment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by completing cycle counts or investigation of inventory errors by re-entry of SAP transactions interfacing with computers or using handheld devices.
• Segregate damaged, hold, outdated or rejected inventory per Quality approved procedures.
• Prepare and ship product for destruction.
• Requirements High School Graduate or GED
• Forklift experience – Raymond stand up
• Basic Computer skills – laptop (RF)
• Experience is preferred but training will be provided.
• Be able to read, understand and enter information into SAP inventory records, using procedures written in English.
• Inventory reconciliation will require basic mat calculations to be completed.
• Must be capable of lifting 70 lbs., walking, standing, stooping and climbing ladders as well as handling heavy boxes and operating moving equipment outdoors
• Maybe required to pass security checks to obtain CDA status and gain access to CCSF area.

Pay Details: $26.94 per hour
