The Material Handler/Forklift Driver performs all driving and related functions in the movement of materials necessary for the operation of the Shipping/Receiving and Manufacturing departments. This role will be for 1st Shift (6:30am - 3pm).

The Material Handler/Forklift Driver performs all driving and related functions in the movement of materials necessary for the operation of the Shipping/Receiving and Manufacturing departments. This role will be for 1st Shift (6:30am - 3pm).
What You Will Do For UGN
- Perform pre-start checklist on forklift.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks to meet customer and UGN requirements.
- Verify incoming materials for correctness, quantity, and damage and place in designated locations.
- Stage orders to be shipped and verify.
- Unload customer returns and rejected materials in designated areas and notify Quality Control.
- Obtain weights on special and UPS shipments.
- Maintain housekeeping in the warehouse, storage areas, and docks, removing and dumping trashor removing recyclables from these and manufacturing areas as necessary to maintain housekeeping.
- Supply manufacturing with raw materials and shipping containers as required to support production.
- Maintain cleanliness and operation of equipment.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Desire hardworking team members who are interested in growth opportunities
- Previous manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Forklift license preferred; government issued driver's license required.
