Overview
The Communications & Events Coordinator develops and executes brand communications, public relations, and event marketing strategies to strengthen brand awareness, foster customer loyalty, and drive engagement. This role manages media outreach, influencer partnerships, event planning, and content creation to ensure a consistent and impactful brand presence across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Media & Public Relations: Draft and distribute press releases, build media relationships, and secure coverage to enhance visibility in the overlanding and outdoor adventure space.
- Event Planning & Execution: Organize and manage trade shows, customer rallies, and corporate events, including logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site representation.
- Email Marketing: Create and optimize targeted email campaigns to engage customers, promote products, and drive event attendance.
- Influencer & Ambassador Management: Recruit and manage brand ambassadors and influencers, ensuring alignment with brand values and tracking performance.
- Brand Communications: Develop strategies that maintain a cohesive brand voice across all marketing channels.
- Content Creation: Assist with scripting, storytelling, and production for marketing content; coordinate shoot logistics and ensure brand consistency.
- Demo Fleet Scheduling: Manage scheduling and logistics for the company’s demo fleet for events and media opportunities.
- Travel: Extensive travel required (10–15 weekends per year plus weekdays), including living and working from a truck camper in varying conditions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in event planning, PR, and digital marketing
- Ability to travel extensively and work in outdoor environments
