Key Responsibilities
Continuous Improvement Leadership
- Identify, develop, and execute improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Partner with stakeholders to define scope, justification, budgets, and execution plans for capital investments.
- Work closely with department heads to identify improvement opportunities and create strategic action plans.
- Gather and analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes, and performance gaps.
- Facilitate workshops and training on continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
- Monitor KPIs, evaluate initiative progress, and report findings to senior leadership.
- Create and implement SOPs and best practices for consistent, efficient operations.
- Lead root cause analysis sessions using Lean, Six Sigma, and other structured problem-solving tools.
- Maintain detailed project records, including goals, timelines, outcomes, and lessons learned.
- Guide the organization through change initiatives with minimal disruption and high engagement.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).
- Certification: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt highly desirable.
- Experience: 3–5 years in continuous improvement or process engineering, preferably in manufacturing or steel fabrication.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, statistical analysis tools, and project management software.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities; capable of influencing without direct authority.
- Analytical Thinker: Skilled at identifying process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Project Manager: Able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Change Agent: Committed to fostering a culture of innovation and improvement.
- Collaborative: Works effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels.
- Detail-Oriented: Ensures accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards.
- Adaptable: Thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
