Job Description
The Manufacturing Planner is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of work instructions as directed by a Manufacturing Engineer. The role involves compliance with customer and product procurement specifications, implementing engineering changes, and validating that the manufacturing process meets all customer and internal requirements. The planner applies operation time standards and is responsible for creating clear and concise work instructions for detail parts, sub-assemblies, and top assemblies.
Responsibilities
The role involves working in an office located near the lobby alongside Manufacturing Engineers. The position reports to the Lead Planner and works closely with a cohesive team that includes a Lead Tech and a Senior Planner. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. The company offers good challenges and opportunities, with a growing environment that encourages involvement in various projects and collaboration across different teams.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

- Ensure accuracy of work instructions as directed by a Manufacturing Engineer.
- Comply with customer and product procurement specifications.
- Implement all engineering changes.
- Validate that the manufacturing process meets all customer and internal requirements.
- Apply operation time standards as required.
- Create clear and concise work instructions for detail parts, sub-assemblies, and top assemblies.
- Assist with projects and planning for machining, forming, stamping, heat treating, and chemical processing of materials such as Titanium, Inconel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel.
- Experience as a planner in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of engineering change orders and production planning.
- Proficiency in work instruction creation, specifically within the aerospace industry.
- Understanding of bills of materials and blueprints.
- High school degree or GED with 2 years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word, including pivot tables, IF statements, V-lookups, and document editing and writing.
- Attention to detail and intermediate computer skills.
- Experience in manufacturing work instructions for sheet metal forming, welding, machining, and heat treating to aerospace industry standards is a plus.
