This role involves hands-on work assembling precision components, supporting product testing, and assisting engineering and production teams in a controlled manufacturing environment.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with small components, technical drawings, and precision tools while contributing to high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and troubleshoot electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical components following technical drawings and documented procedures
- Conduct functional testing, calibration, and alignment of assemblies to ensure proper performance and compliance
- Operate specialized production and laboratory equipment used for fabrication and processing activities
- Support engineering teams with data collection, documentation, and evaluation of test results
- Prepare materials and compounds used during assembly and processing activities according to safety and production procedures
- Assist with diagnosing production issues and evaluating nonconforming hardware
- Modify or create basic tooling, fixtures, or assembly aids to improve efficiency and product quality
- Perform repair work on assemblies, circuit boards, or production hardware when required
- Safely move equipment and assemblies using appropriate handling tools or lifting devices
- Maintain an organized and compliant work area while supporting production schedules and team goals
- High school diploma, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or technician roles
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, or work instructions
- Experience using precision hand tools, microscopes, or inspection equipment
- Background working in a clean manufacturing or controlled production environment is beneficial
- Familiarity with precision welding processes (TIG or resistance welding) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and steady hand coordination for precision work
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and data entry
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and production teams
- Willingness to learn new processes and support production needs, including occasional overtime
